Gluhwein

This is a traditional non-alcoholic punch drink handed-down Vranek's maternal side of the family. It is both a refreshing warming drink for the festive season and (with additional chilli powder) an effective cold remedy.

Serving: 12+ people
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 1/2 hour

Ingredients:
1/2 pint of orange juice.
1/2 black grape juice.
3 sticks of cinnamon.
1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder.
Tablespoon of honey (mountain honey preferably)
Teaspoon of gloves.
Juice of 1 lemon.
Dessertspoon of grated fresh ginger.

Preparation:
Place orange juice and black grape juice into a large pan. You might want to add a little water to dilute the liquid. Add all the other ingredients and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow to simmer for 1/2 hour or more.

Serving Suggestions: Serve warm. Sip regulary for cold remedy.
