Taking-part-in a sport has evidential benefits for health and well-being.
However, 'training' has additional benefits of making participation safer and fun through added technical acumen.
The neuro-dynamic twist in Vorsprung training adds a further element of enhanced communication pathways between the body-and-the-brain, and the-brain-and-the-body.
Within Vorsprung we recognise three elementary changes:
• First, we see changes in neuro-dynamic communication pathways. This will be observed in improved co-ordination and balance, or in exercise routines embedding within the participant (rather than having to be told what to do all the time), or in better form.
• Secondly, we see the physical attributes of 'training' benefitting performances. This can be observed with decreased recovery times and improved exercise performances.
• Thirdly, we see the combination of the two above syncing to create a more balanced and enhanced being of oneself.
The improvements in times for the runners, in ball skills and spatial awareness for footballers et al, are only due to the first element kicking-in. Physiologically, it would be too soon to see improvements from the second element before twelve weeks.
So, if you are improving within the first twelve weeks, just from the first element, signs are good that a greater improvement will be apparent in the weeks to follow…
