To increase difficulty, it is often mistakenly thought, that, one should increase load or repetitions. However, it is much more effective and safer to do one of three things:

1) Slow down. Perform each exercise slower. With more awareness of each movement. Methodical and embodied.

2) Where appropriate, perform the exercise balancing on a wobble cushion.

3) Perform the exercises with your eyes closed, to increase the activity of core muscles and to heighten ones proprioceptive development.
