This weekend saw a flurry of 1st's and PB’s as The Vorsprung Project runners dominant local headlines.

At the Friday Cheshire 5k race, in a stacked field, Edward Land came 24th M40 in a PB of 16:41 and Janoš Vranek came 10th in U23 in a new PB and AAC record of 15:09.

On Saturday Patrick Finney came 3rd, in M50 category, in the Red Kite 1/2 Marathon Trail Run and Mark Whitehead came 1st in M45 category, in the Red Kite 10k Trail Run.

On Sunday evening, Janoš, then travelled to Cardiff for the 5k and came away with a 25th place (10th in U23 and 3rd U23) in another new PB and AAC record 14:50.

On Monday, another AAC runner completed the May Bank Holiday racing weekend. Shelley Childs coming 4th in the Ras Dyffryn Cledlyn 5 miles road run, in his third best time ever.
